COMMUNICATION
CSR STRATEGY
We analyse the company from bottom up – from its socio-economic nature, to business flows and processes, up to market positioning – identifying areas where things should be done and realistic, obtainable goals to create a CSR strategy that is both correct and credible. A strategy that can include fast, simple solutions like the switch to green servers/zero emission certified data centres, or more complicated ones such as corporate and product carbon neutrality, or supply chain traceability using blockchain technology, or social projects set up around the needs of the company that can involve different issues, such as social inclusion, promoting the local area and sustainable innovation.
THE BENEFIT CORPORATION APPROACH
We are working to introduce or integrate social responsibility in corporate activities, with a transparent formalising of the company’s commitment through:
- updating company by-laws
- naming a company Environmental Impact Officer;
- supporting the production of an annual sustainability report.
A multi-phase workshop aimed at creating a sustainability culture in the company, identifying the corporate purpose and the stakeholders of reference, defining ESG priorities.
A proprietary methodology developed together with LTTU Associati – a law firm with many years’ experience in responsibility issues for organisations – which draws its inspiration from Organisational Model 231. A new model that calls for the creation of company processes and the identification of flows and processes to ensure sustainability goals.
THE B CORP PROCESS
We take companies through the international B Corp certification process which certifies the commitment and value generated by measuring performance that has an ESG impact (Environment, Social, Governance). We provide consultancy on:
- compilation of the “B Impact Assessment” assessment questionnaire (BIA) on issues relating to: Governance, Environment and Clients;
- Community, Workers;
- Gap Analysis, analysing the gap between goals and results (80 points that are useful in obtaining the certification);
- drawing up an improvement plan;
CARBON STRATEGY
Tailor-made climate strategies to take action on environmental impact and company emissions in both the short and long term.
– Company Carbon Footprint: measuring direct and indirect emissions, according to GHG Protocol parameters, reducing and eliminating them with a view to carbon neutrality through certified compensation projects.
– Product Carbon Footprints: we follow LCA methodology to measure emissions linked to product lifecycle, from locating raw materials up to the end of the product lifespan.
– Carbon Offset: compensation through environmental protection and regeneration projects, including in Italy. Projects that can be traceable and certified to communicate one’s efforts with transparency.
Quick-win Solutions
– Green Servers: zero-emission certified Italian data centres, which eliminate an important Scope 3 item, or the indirect emissions linked to websites and e-mail.
– Net Zero Travel: a quick, fast and effective solution to neutralise Scope 3 emissions linked to movement for work, investing in green fuel for planes that will have a direct impact on the source of emissions.
MAPPING
An approach to assessment created in association with AIMS International to identify resources within the company that are most suitable for human & business sustainability. The assessment is based on an integrated methodology that includes a digital-mode first phase and, during the second phase, the use of specific and customisable tools. The aim is to map the skills of every resource, allowing the company to develop personalised training plans, as well as showing the correct positioning inside the organisation.
FORMAZIONE
We develop or add to skills relating to:
- CSR: tools and methodologies to develop a corporate social responsibility strategy;
- sustainable development: international definitions and the SDG reference framework of the UN 2030 agenda;
- benefit and B Corp models;
- circular economy: founding principles, enabling factors, business models;
- digital transformation and data ethics officer: how to give a higher purpose for digital innovation and improve environmental and social impact using technology;
- brand value & ESG factors: building brand value starting from positioning, reputation, attracting talent and purchasing choices.
- eco design: new ecological fibres and eco-innovative materials.
In partnership with AIMS International, a global consultancy firm specialising in research & development projects, we develop training programmes and people & leadership development in line with corporate goals. We identify the key figures in the company and, if required, we find them on the market.
SUSTAINABILITY GOVERNANCE
With LTTU Associati we support companies in establishing corporate procedures that are aimed at defining business flows and processes to protect sustainability goals, and create monitoring bodies and controlled management methods. We draw up ethical and organisational models relating to the 231 legislation and ensure participation in supervisory bodies to guarantee the correct administration of the company, since good governance is a guarantee of effective results in the ESG area.
SUSTAINABILITY STORYTELLING
With Luther Dsgn, we communicate projects linked to the internal and external sustainability of the company to increase engagement and work on brand equity.
